Welcome to my blog. Besides my normal everyday life, I quilt, work in a quilt shop, and love to read quilt blogs. I embroider, do counted cross stitching, tat, crochet, knit and want to learn anything that requires the use of needles and thread. Come back often to see what new project I am working on or to read a tip or two.

I had a great time at Suppose Guild sewing night Thursday. I worked on my postage stamp blocks. I need to use all the charms I have because next month there will be another swap. Anyway, it was fun to visit and sew with friends. I brought home two almost finished blocks.

I'm already getting Stash Bee blocks in the mail. Its like receiving presents. I also got this --

Its my first doll quilt. The fussy cut flowers are so cute. As you can see, quilters are very generous. Besides a handmade card, my partner sent me a zipper pouch that contained a tin of arrow pins, a thimble ring and a quilt block necklace. I was so happy with the quilt and the gifts.

Now for a day of serious quilting. I want to finish something today and then I will let you see.

Keep quilting and stay happy.

  1. Just a little note to tell you how much I love the "cotton picker" tool that I won from you in the St. Patrick's Day Blog Hop. I just finished using it on my second flannel rag quilt and in no time at all it was all "spiffed" up.
Thanks again and it was a great box of goodies.
